VC Fusion is coming to your neighborhood! We are happy to announce Ventura County Fusion YSA will be hosting official youth club teams in the San Fernando Valley for the upcoming 2020 season. VC Fusion will host Youth Tryouts to invite the greatest talent in the area. Trials will be held this February in preparation for the new season.

Our teams will train and play in our new locations spread throughout the San Fernando Valley. We are hosting trials to recruit players within the age groups from 2013 - 2006. Players of all levels are encouraged to trial as we will have various teams to roster.


One benefit of joining our club is the clear and true player path. Beginning with our competitive teams, great players have the opportunity to move up the ranks into Pre-Academy and eventually Development Academy teams.

About the Ventura County Fusion (USL2)
A world-class, championship-caliber soccer franchise that plays in the now called United Soccer Leagues 2 (USL2) formerly known as the PDL. Based in Ventura, California, the Ventura County Fusion is a widely successful, world-class soccer franchise, Now in its thirteenth year of operation, Fusion has been a trendsetter in the western US, winning four division titles, reaching the playoffs for seven consecutive seasons, and claiming the PDL Championship in 2009.The Fusion’s roster includes members of the U.S.’s Under 20 National Team, players from well -respected NCAA Division I university programs, and highly touted standouts from international squads throughout the world.   In addition to PDL play, the Fusion has competed in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup each of the last five years, and in 2015 became the first PDL franchise to win a US Open Cup match in five consecutive years. The Ventura County Fusion is far more than just a USL franchise, as the organization offers a wide range of soccer instructional programs, including camps, schools, free clinics, youth soccer club specifically designed for players of different experience levels & US Soccer Development Academy.
Over the years, the Fusion have taken on some of the top teams in England in exhibition matches, meeting Manchester City, West Brom Everton, Portsmouth and Swansea, among others, in Southern California-based friendly games.  In July 2014, Fusion earned arguably its most famous victory, beating one of Britain's great clubs, Rangers FC (Glasgow Scotland), 3-1 in a friendly match at Ventura College.
Other past friendly opponents include the Mexico U-20 National Team, Chivas Guadalajara, Club Tijuana, Monarcas Morelia and a host of Liga MX teams, as well as top-flight clubs from Sweden, Argentina and Japan.  To say the least, this franchise prides itself on bringing world-class soccer to Ventura County.  The Fusion have helped to build Ventura County into a preseason training hub for Major League Soccer teams from throughout North America.  The Fusion have played exhibition matches against more than half the teams in Major League Soccer, hosting many of the same teams for two weeks during preseason training.

About the US Soccer Development Academy
The Development Academy is a partnership between U.S. Soccer and the top youth clubs around the country to provide the best youth players in the U.S with an environment designed to produce the next generation of National Team players. The United States Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) is the highest level of youth soccer in the United States for male and female soccer players. VC Fusion is the only club in Ventura County to offer its membership the opportunity to play in the USSDA. The Development Academy provides a clear pathway for Fusion players: US Youth National Teams (USYNT), NCAA, Professional Soccer (MLS, USL, NWSL, NASL), as well as the Men's National Team (USMNT) and Women's National Team (USWNT).
The mission of the DA program is to have a direct impact on the everyday club environment by providing clubs with the education, resources and support to develop world-class male and female players. This model focuses on the developing the individual player within the club environment setting a standard nationwide that will positively impact thousands of youth players.
